This article privides a list of all full members ("académicos de número"), past and present, of the Real Academia Española, the Spanish language regulator institution, as of July 1, 2006. Each member is elected for life by the rest of the academicians from among prestigious Spanish-language authors. Each academician has a seat assigned, labelled with a letter of the Spanish alphabet (distinguishing upper case and lower case).
