Robert 'Bobby' Russell (born 11 February 1957 in Glasgow) is a Scottish former professional football player who is best known for his time with Rangers.
Russell was a product of the Ibrox youth team and made his top team debut against Aberdeen F.C. on the 13 August 1977, aged only 20. The game ended in a 3-1 defeat, however Rangers went on to win the treble that season and Russell cemented his place on the right side of the midfield.
He would go on to make 370 appearances for the club and win a league championship, two Scottish Cup's and four Scottish League Cup's. He left Rangers and joined Motherwell in 1987 and was part of the Well side that won the Scottish Cup in 1991.
