List of Winnie-the-Pooh characters

This is a list of characters in the Disney series based on the Winnie the Pooh books. It includes some additional characters not included in the original books.

Characters in the original books

Winnie the Pooh

Winnie the Pooh (or Pooh for short) is the nice, lovable bear in the series. He helps out and thinks everyday is Thursday. He was voiced by Sterling Holloway, and Hal Smith and is currently voiced by Jim Cummings.

Piglet

Piglet is Pooh's best friend. He is a kind small animal and can get pretty scared whenever he is stuck in a tall tree, or about to fall off a log, etc. but, with Pooh by his side, he can overcome his fears. He was voiced by John Fiedler, but since Fiedler's death on June 25, 2005, he was being voiced by Travis Oates.

Christopher Robin

The boy in the series, with toy animals in his room to play with. He is voiced by Bruce Reitherman (original film) Tom Hopkins and Bradley Michael Pierce and currently Struen Erlenbron.

Kanga

Kanga is a nice helper, who can teach her friends stuff, and help them out. She was voiced by originally voiced by Barbara Luddy, Patricia Parris, and later by Katherine Soucie.

Roo

Roo is Kanga's joey, who helps out, too. He was originally voiced by Clint Howard then Dori Whitaker, Nikita Hopkins, Jimmy Bennett and now Max Burkholder.

Rabbit

Rabbit thinks he is the cleverest animal in the Hundred Acre Wood, and can get very mad when Tigger bouncing on his prized garden. He was voiced by Junius Matthews, Will Ryan, and is currently voiced by Ken Sansom.

Tigger

Pooh's bouncy friend, with stripes that are both orange and black. He was voiced by Paul Winchell, Jim Cummings, and later by Andrew Stanton.

Eeyore

Eeyore is Pooh's donkey friend that can get very glum, at certain times. He's voiced by Peter Cullen.

Owl

A flying animal in the series; he acts as a teacher. He is voiced by Hal Smith and now Andre Stojka.

Gopher

Pooh's gray friend, who lives inside a "hole." Gopher is voiced by Michael Gough

Darby

Darby is the 6-year-old red-haired girl in the Pooh's Grand Adventure II movie. Darby is voiced by Chloe Moretz (US) and Kimberlea Berg (UK).

Lumpy

Lumpy is one of the main characters in the My Friends Tigger & Pooh cartoon and in the films. Lumpy is voiced by Kyle Stanger in the films "Pooh's Heffalump Movie" and "Pooh's Heffalump Halloween Movie" and Oliver Dillon in the cartoon and film "Pooh's Grand Adventure II".

Buster

Buster is Darby's pet puppy. His barking is supplied by Dee Bradley Baker.

Porcupine

Porcupine is a friend of the gang voiced by Tara Strong.

Turtle is a close friend of Porcupine voiced by Mark Hamill,
