Amagi Railway Amagi Line

The nihongo|Amagi Line|甘木線|Amagi-sen is a Japanese railway line between Kiyama Station, Kiyama and Amagi Station, Asakura. This is the only railway line nihongo|Amagi Railway|甘木鉄道|Amagi Tetsudō operates. The company or the line is also called nihongo|Amatetsu|甘鉄 locally. The third sector company (in Japanese sense) took former Japanese National Railways (JNR) line in 1986. The line functions as a commuter rail for Fukuoka. As such, the line is steadily making profits, unlike most other lines refused by JNR.
