Teele Square

Teele Square is at the intersection of Broadway, Holland Street, and Curtis Street in Somerville, Massachusetts, a half-mile from Davis Square and the Davis Square stop on the MBTA Red Line, as well as a half-mile from Foodmaster Square and Powder House Square.

The square is within easy walking distance of Tufts University and has access to Route 16 and Interstate 93. It is a short distance from the town lines of Cambridge, Arlington, and Medford. The square features a variety of eateries including Rudy's (Mexican), [http://www.orleansrestaurant.com Orleans Restaurant and Bar] , Tip Top Thai (noodles and sushi), PJ Ryan's Irish Pub, Theo's Pizza, Angelina's Pizzeria, Amelia's Kitchen (Italian), Sabur (exotic Mediterranean), and Kee Kar Lau (Chinese). There are several cafes in Teele Square, including the Soleil Cafe and Renee's Cafe, among other Chinese take-aways and corner shops.

Teele Square is also home to Ladder 3 and Engine 6 of the Somerville Fire Department.

Teele Square sits on Clarendon Hill, one of the seven hills of Somerville.
