Thomas Anthony Welch

Thomas Anthony Welch (1884–1959) was a U.S. Roman Catholic bishop. He was the Bishop of Duluth, Minnesota between 1925 until his death in 1959.

Welch was born in Faribault, Rice County, Minnesota on November 2, 1884. He was ordained a priest of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis on June 11, 1909. On December 17 1925, Welch was appointed the bishop of Duluth. He was consecrated on February 3, 1926. [http://www.catholic-hierarchy.org/bishop/bwelch.html]
