United States Census Bureau , the village has a total area of 1.0square mile s (2.6km² ), of which, 0.9 square miles (2.4 km²) of it is land and 0.1 square miles (0.1 km²) of it (5.05%) is water.Demographics
As of the
census GR|2 of 2000, there were 198 people, 89 households, and 50 families residing in the village. Thepopulation density was 210.6 per square mile (81.3/km²). There were 118 housing units at an average density of 125.5/sq mi (48.5/km²). The racial makeup of the village was 99.49% White, and 0.51% from two or more races. 23.4% were of Finnish, 18.5% German, 17.4% Polish, 12.5% Italian and 7.6% Irish ancestry according toCensus 2000 .There were 89 households out of which 28.1% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 42.7% were married couples living together, 6.7% had a female householder with no husband present, and 43.8% were non-families. 40.4% of all households were made up of individuals and 28.1% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.22 and the average family size was 3.00.
In the village the population was spread out with 25.3% under the age of 18, 7.1% from 18 to 24, 25.3% from 25 to 44, 17.2% from 45 to 64, and 25.3% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 39 years. For every 100 females there were 106.3 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 108.5 males.
The median income for a household in the village was $21,750, and the median income for a family was $27,917. Males had a median income of $20,750 versus $23,750 for females. The
