Sakthi Vasu is a South Indian actor. His father, P. Vasu, is a well known director in the cine field for more than 20 years. His real name is Prashanth, but was named Sakthi for Cine field. He acted as a child artiste in his father's blockbuster Chinnathambi. Almost after a decade his father prepared his entry into Tamil cinema as a hero in Thottal Poo Malarum. In his next movie "Magesh, Saranya, mattrum palar" he is paired with Sandhya.
