Prevertebral muscles

The prevertebral muscles are the muscles located between the prevertebral fascia (older definition) and the vertebral column, i.e., the longus capitis [http://kobiljak.msu.edu/CAI/ANT551/Unit02/Topic04/U2_L4_O3.html kobiljak.msu] ] andlongus colli muscles. Anterior rectus capitis muscle can also be counted to these.
