Solaiman worked in nearly 30 theatre dramas. Some of his renowned worked including "Election Caricature", "Ingit", "Goni Miyar Akdin", "Ei Deshe Ei Beshe" reflected social discriminations in a satirical manner. He concentrated on the local folklore of Bangladesh in his "Amina Sundori", "Sunai Koinnar Pala" and in "Aalal Dulaler Pala". Solaiman spend some years in the
USA and worked Bengali theatre. He managed to take one of his dramas to New York'sOff-Off Broadway .Music
Solaiman was used to with special musical features in his dramas. He created unique compositions as well as parodies.
Legacy
Every year all the theatre groups of
Dhaka observes a fair called "Solaiman Mela" to commemorate the life and work of SM Solaiman. [cite news
