About the Church
Founded in 1971 the old St. Michael’s Church was actually the old British Airforce officers mess. Under the guidance of his Excellency Reverend Bishop Bernard Gremoli, Fr. Angelo Fiumicelli and his team worked painstakingly to get the present Church building ready. The building, an architectural work of art, is able to accommodate more than 1300 parishioners at a time and was consecrated on 2nd October 1997 by His Eminence Cardinal Francis Arinze.
The Church presently offers masses in English, Arabic, Tagalog, African, Konkani, Tamil, Sinhalese and Malayalam.
