"Georgetown University Forum" was an early American television program broadcast on the now defunct DuMont Television Network. The series ran from 1951 to 1953. It was a public affairs program hosted by Frank Blair. The show, produced at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C., and distributed by DuMont, aired weekly. Most of the topics were political or related to current news events.[Brooks, Tim & Marsh, Earle (1964). "The Complete Directory to Prime Time Network TV Shows" (3rd ed.). New York: Ballantine. ISBN 0-345-31864-1] The series was cancelled in 1953; DuMont replaced the series with local (non-network) programming.]Footnotes
