"American Virgin" is a film directed by Jean-Pierre Marois that follows a young woman, "Katrina Bartalotti" (Mena Suvari), who is the daughter of an adult film director (Robert Loggia), who agrees to lose her virginity onscreen to spite her father.

*Adult film actor Ron Jeremy makes a cameo as a desk police sergeant.

*The film's original working title was "Live Virgin", but changed to "American Virgin" to capitalize on previous successful film titles that starred Mena Suvari in "American Pie" and "American Beauty".
