OUTLOOKS is a Calgary Canada based LGBT magazine, published a 10 times annually (monthly excepting combined issues in Jul/Aug & Dec/Jan). Founded by Roy Heale in 1997 as a newsprint monthly, in 2009 the publication was purchased by Brett Taylor and was changed to a full gloss lifestyle magazine magazine for the LGBT community. The head office is located in Calgary, Alberta. ' Subscribers are served by Canada Post, readers in major cities can obtain copies at various businesses in gay village locations, and the publication is stocked at many Chapters/Indigo bookseller locations, making the magazine available to gay & lesbian readers outside traditional gay villages.

Outlooks covers gay culture , bringing together editorial features by experts from across Canada on travel (Travel Editor Randall Shirley), politics (Political Editor Dale Smith), arts & entertainment, fashion (Fashion Editor Lincoln Phillip), and issues that matter to Canada's LGBT communities from coast to coast. The Publishing Editor is Brett Taylor.
