Indian lines

Indian lines

Indian Lines (also called an Indian Run) are a form of long-distance running drill where by the a group of 3 or more runners runs in a straight line and the last runner in the line sprints up to the front of the moving line to take the front position. This drill works well when the successive sprints to the front of the line are on a timer: perhaps 30 seconds apart, depending on the number of runners in the line (eg. the longer the line, the shorter the rest should be). This type of running drill falls in to the Fartlek category of mixed aerobic and anaerobic running workout.
