Birra Moretti Cup

The Birra Moretti Cup is an annual football friendly tournament that has been organised and sponsored by Birra Moretti since 1997. [http://www.juventus.com/uk/news/detail.aspx?lml_language_id=0&trs_id=1370000&ID=8007] Three Italian football teams are called by invitation (even though Inter has been the only team who participated in all editions) where the winner is entitled to the Birra Moretti Cup. *Juventus win by virtue of head to head rule.

*In 2008 a system was introduced where any teams who played to a draw would receive 1 point each, they would then have a penalty shootout, the winner receiving 1 extra point.
