Royal Navy have borne the name HMS "Crescent":*HMS "Crescent" was a 14-gun ship purchased in 1643. She was captured in 1648 by the Royalists and wrecked in 1649.
*HMS "Crescent" was a 6-gunfireship , formerly of the French navy. She was captured in 1692 by HMS "Dover" and sold in 1698.
*HMS "Crescent" was a 32-gunfifth rate . She was formerly the Frenchprivateer "Rostan", before being captured in 1758 by HMS "Torbay". She was sold in 1777.
