Miúcha

Heloísa Maria Buarque de Hollanda (born November 30, 1937^{[citation needed]} in Rio de Janeiro^[1]), whose artistic name is Miúcha, is a Brazilian singer and composer. She is the daughter of historian Sérgio Buarque de Holanda^[2] by Maria Amélia Cesário Alvim^{[citation needed]} and sister of the singer and composer Chico Buarque^[3] and two other singers Ana de Hollanda and Cristina.^{[citation needed]} Her career began in 1975 with work realized with her husband, João Gilberto, and Stan Getz, recorded as a participant in the disc The best of two worlds.^[2][4] This was followed by forays into jazz with Tom Jobim, Vinícius de Moraes, João Donato and her daughter Bebel Gilberto.^[2]
