Heloísa Maria Buarque de Hollanda (born November 30, 1937[citation needed] in Rio de Janeiro[1]), whose artistic name is Miúcha, is a Brazilian singer and composer. She is the daughter of historian Sérgio Buarque de Holanda[2] by Maria Amélia Cesário Alvim[citation needed] and sister of the singer and composer Chico Buarque[3] and two other singers Ana de Hollanda and Cristina.[citation needed] Her career began in 1975 with work realized with her husband, João Gilberto, and Stan Getz, recorded as a participant in the disc The best of two worlds.[2][4] This was followed by forays into jazz with Tom Jobim, Vinícius de Moraes, João Donato and her daughter Bebel Gilberto.[2]
