Yukio Aoshima

Yukio Aoshima

Nihongo|Yukio Aoshima|青島 幸男|extra=17 July 1932 - 20 December 2006 was a Japanese male politician who served as a Governor of Tokyo Metropolitan Government from 1995 to 1999.

Aoshima is also well-known as a novelist, a film director and a TV-actor.

Early life

Yukio was born in Nihonbashi and his father had been running the catering business. After the graduation from Commerce faculty of Waseda University, his career of writer began.

Yukio was so feeble and he dropped out the graduate school.

Political Careers

Yokio's political campaign at the election was and had never seen before.

Usually in Japanese elections, the candidates make large political campaigns during the advertising time. They make campaign advertising speeches throughout the districts by car.

Yukio had neither campaigns nor approvals for the activities. We never had heard his political speeches facing the voters.

His appearance in political scene have driven to begin the Nihongo|"Sei-ken Hou-sou"|政見放送|candidate's advertising statements by air .
