As of the
census GR|2 of 2000, there were 251 people, 99 households, and 70 families residing in the city. Thepopulation density was 909.7 people per square mile (346.1/km²). There were 110 housing units at an average density of 398.7/sq mi (151.7/km²). The racial makeup of the city was 96.41% White, 0.40% African American, 1.20% Native American, 0.40% Asian, and 1.59% from two or more races.There were 99 households out of which 36.4% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 51.5% were married couples living together, 13.1% had a female householder with no husband present, and 28.3% were non-families. 24.2% of all households were made up of individuals and 9.1% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.54 and the average family size was 3.03.
In the city the population was spread out with 25.9% under the age of 18, 8.8% from 18 to 24, 30.3% from 25 to 44, 18.3% from 45 to 64, and 16.7% who were 65 years of age or older.
