The term Automated Attendant Recordings (aka Call Processing Announcements) refers to the pre-recorded announcements used by various telecommunications systems (Automated Attendant, Interactive Voice Response, Automatic Call Distribution) when processing or “handling” incoming calls. The calls may or may not be routed to a live operator or other company employee, depending on the type of system.
