Woodhouse ward—which includes the district of Woodhouse and most of Handsworth—is one of the 28 electoral wards in City of Sheffield, England. It is located in the southeastern part of the city and covers an area of 7 km². The population of this ward in 2001 was 17,900 people in 7,800 households. It is one of the wards that make up the Sheffield Attercliffe constituency.

Woodhouse
Woodhouse (gbmapping|SK420849) is a former farming and coal-mining village, now a suburb and housing estate in the south-east of Sheffield. It is served by regular buses to Sheffield and has a station on the Sheffield -Lincoln railway line.
Local Transport - First South Yorkshire: 52 bus (Crookes - Woodhouse via. City Centre) (Red Line) terminates at Woodhouse. This is a high frequency bus during day time.
Woodhouse Mill
Woodhouse Mill is generally accepted as the area, within the City of Sheffield ,to the east of the former Great Central railway line. This was a farming area on which housing was developed over a period in the 20th century. The Shirebrook runs through the area but to avoid recurring flooding this has now been culveted. The "Woodhouse Wetlands" nature reserve is situated in Woodhouse Mill, and boasts several interesting species or fish, birds and other wetland creatures. The River Rother runs through the wetlands.
