Richard Crawford (born 1988) is a supporting character on the television program, "Family Matters".

Known and referred to as Richie, the character was portrayed by identical twins Joseph and Julius Wright for the entire first season, then at the second through ninth season, he was portrayed by Emmy-winning television actor, Bryton McClure.

Richie Crawford is the only child and son of Rachel Crawford, he and his mother, moved in with his uncle, Carl Winslow, aunt Harriette Winslow and their cousins: Eddie Winslow, Laura Winslow, Judith Winslow and their grandmother, Estelle Winslow. Richie was known for being very innocent, after the dismissal of Judy, the show's producers made more room for the other characters on the show, Richie, however, was aged to three years old on the show's second year (1990-1991).

Judy Winslow, Carl and Harriette's third child finally was cut from the series after end of the fourth season. The character Richie became more adorable and received a lot more lines, and as a fact, Richie succeeded Judy as the second replacement filling in for Judy's shoes as the "baby of the family". Richie was quite often very innocent and made from with 3J, a tough Inner city-street kid whose mother had put him up for adoption when he was born. Richie and 3J became best friends in the final two seasons of the series, and after season eight, Bryton McClure left the series, as his character Richie only appeared for a couple of episodes when only necessary.
