The Post-Classical Era refers to the period of time that immediately followed the
Classical Era . During the years in between500 and 1453 AD.The "'Post-Classical Era" is the period of Western history following the fall of the great classical empires in the Mediterranean region. This period is more commonly known as the
Middle Ages .During the Post-Classical Era, significant developments include:

*Increased communication and trade between theWestern world and theEastern world .In European history the Post-Classical Era coincides with the Middle Ages. During this period, the eastern empires continued to expand through trade, migration and conquests of neighboring areas. While after the fall of the classical western empires, civilizations emerged to form complex tribal societies.
High Post-Classical Period
