Iowa, United States, along the Floyd River. The population was 672 at the 2000 census.

United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.5 square miles (1.2 km²), all of it land.
As of the
censusGR|2 of 2000, there were 672 people, 262 households, and 183 families residing in the city. The population densitywas 1,427.7 people per square mile (552.0/km²). There were 280 housing units at an average density of 594.9/sq mi (230.0/km²). The racial makeup of the city was 96.28% White, 1.04% Native American, 0.45% Asian, 0.60% from other races, and 1.64% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.60% of the population.
There were 262 households out of which 31.7% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 64.5% were married couples living together, 3.8% had a female householder with no husband present, and 29.8% were non-families. 27.5% of all households were made up of individuals and 14.5% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.56 and the average family size was 3.14.
In the city the population was spread out with 28.6% under the age of 18, 8.2% from 18 to 24, 25.1% from 25 to 44, 19.5% from 45 to 64, and 18.6% who were 65 years of age or older.
