John Sandale (or John Sandall) was a medieval Bishop of Winchester.

He was a canon of Lincoln and St. Paul's before and provost of Wells before becoming Lord High Treasurer from 1310 to 1311. He was acting treasurer from 1312 to 1314.Powicke "Handbook of British Chronology" p. 100-101] He later became Lord Chancellor on September 26 1314. He held that office until June 11 1318.Powicke "Handbook of British Chronology" p. 84]

He was once more Lord High Treasurer in November of 1318 and held the office until his death.

He was elected to the see of Winchester about July 27 1316 and consecrated on October 31 1316. He died on November 2 1319.Powicke "Handbook of British Chronology" p. 258]
