" Leucippus " is a genus of hummingbirds. Its members are found in western South America. Two species, "L. chionogaster" and "L. viridicauda", are commonly placed in the genus "Amazilia", while a third species, "L. hypostictus", often is placed in the monotypic "Taphrospilus".
