Ingham, Ohio

Ingham (also known as Ingham Station or Ingham's Station) is a ghost town in southeastern Brown Township, Vinton County, Ohio, United States. [DeLorme. "Ohio Atlas & Gazetteer". 7th ed. ISBN 0-89933-281-1.] Of this small mining community, very little remains: mostly foundations, rubbish, and filled-in mine & tunnel entrances.Fact|date=September 2007 During its peak, several buildings were located in the community: a train station/general store/post office, schoolhouse, tipple, power house, and several private residences.Fact|date=September 2007

William N. Jaynes was postmaster from March 25 1903 until mail was discontinued on April 30 1904, when it was sent to the Mineral post office.
