Hour of the Wolf, named for the Ingmar Bergman film of that same title, originally hosted and produced by Margot Adler in 1972, is a long-running radio program, devoted to speculative fiction, hosted since 1974 by Jim Freund on WBAI in New York. Delany, Thomas M. Disch, Joe Haldeman, Frank Herbert, Christopher Lee, Ursula K. LeGuin, Frederick Pohl, Baird Searles, Norman Spinrad, Kurt Vonnegut, Gahan Wilson, Roger Zelazny, and many others. The show's customary intro music was composed by Peter Schickele as a processional, and was then used in the movie Silent Running, while its customary outro music is Sails of Silver, by Steeleye Span.
