Jananne Al-Ani (born 1966 in
Kirkuk ,Iraq ) is an artist, born to anIraq i father and Irish mother. [ [http://www.middleeastuk.com/culture/artists/al-ani-j/ Jananne Al-Ani - MiddleEastUK.com: Artists ] ] She came to Britain in 1980 and attended theByam Shaw School of Art and received a Fine Art Diploma in 1986, then she went on to theUniversity of Westminster and was awarded a BA inArabic in 1991, after which she attended theRoyal College of Art and holds a Photography MA in 1995. She has been awarded for her outstanding work in previous years. Her most recent public exhibition was in Casino Luxembourg - Forum d'art contemporain inLuxembourg where she presented an L'oeil-Écran Ou La Nouvelle Image in 2007. She currently resides inLondon .
