Jananne Al-Ani

Jananne Al-Ani (born 1966 in Kirkuk, Iraq) is an artist, born to an Iraqi father and Irish mother. [ [http://www.middleeastuk.com/culture/artists/al-ani-j/ Jananne Al-Ani - MiddleEastUK.com: Artists ] ] She came to Britain in 1980 and attended the Byam Shaw School of Art and received a Fine Art Diploma in 1986, then she went on to the University of Westminster and was awarded a BA in Arabic in 1991, after which she attended the Royal College of Art and holds a Photography MA in 1995. She has been awarded for her outstanding work in previous years. Her most recent public exhibition was in Casino Luxembourg - Forum d'art contemporain in Luxembourg where she presented an L'oeil-Écran Ou La Nouvelle Image in 2007. She currently resides in London.
