not for profit visual art s and curatorial organisation, founded in London in 1997 by Juliette Brown and Alana Jelinek.They have curated a number of exhibitions, including 'empire and I' (1999) and 'curio' (2002). They have also initiated small scale, temporary interventions like 'Racist Australia Day' (2000) on the day when seven former and current Australian Prime Ministers were visiting the Australian
High Commission in London in order to celebrate thecentenary of Federation. In 2006 the assisted the African and Asian Visual Artists Archive in putting its archiveonline .In 2007, terra incognita took their activities into
