"Donkey Kong Racing" is a cancelled video game for the Nintendo GameCube. It was to be the sequel to "Diddy Kong Racing", but Microsoft's buyout of Rare in 2002 rendered the game vaporware.

A video of the game shown at E3 in 2001 is all that is known to exist of the project. Somewho believe that Rare owns the development code and may revive this for one of their own franchises such as "Sabreman" (as "Sabreman Stampede"Fact|date=May 2007) or "Viva Piñata", similar to what they did with "Diddy Kong Pilot", which became "Banjo-Pilot".

A similar game was created by game developer Paon entitled "Donkey Kong Barrel Blast" (originally called "DK Bongo Blast"). However, the two projects have no relation to each other.

Confirmed characters
