census GR|2 of 2000, there were 318 people, 124 households, and 89 families residing in the town. Thepopulation density was 1,839.9 people per square mile (722.2/km²). There were 137 housing units at an average density of 792.7/sq mi (311.2/km²). The racial makeup of the town was 100.00% White.There were 124 households out of which 33.1% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 58.9% were married couples living together, 6.5% had a female householder with no husband present, and 28.2% were non-families. 27.4% of all households were made up of individuals and 14.5% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.56 and the average family size was 3.06.
In the town the population was spread out with 28.6% under the age of 18, 6.9% from 18 to 24, 26.7% from 25 to 44, 21.4% from 45 to 64, and 16.4% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 36 years. For every 100 females there were 86.0 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 87.6 males.
