Career
Early career
Deverdics began his career as a trainee with Newcastle United, but was released at the end of the 2005–06 season.
Upon his release he joined Gateshead, leaving to join Bedlington Terriers in December 2006.
Move to Scotland
In March 2007 moved to Gretna.[1] He played six times, scoring once, as Gretna clinched promotion to the Scottish Premier League. On 19 May 2008 Deverdics was part of the remaining 40 staff members who were released by Gretna.[2]
Back in the Football League with Barnet
Deverdics joined Barnet, where he spent two seasons, but was never a first team regular and was released in May 2010.
Becoming a Spartan
On the eve of the 2010-2011 season it was announced that Nicky had signed for Conference North side Blyth Spartans.[3] He made his debut as a second half substitute in the 2-0 defeat to Solihull Moors[4] on 14 August 2010.
He scored his first goal for the Spartans on 11 September 2010 in their 3-0 home win over Worcester City.[5]
BÍ/Bolungarvík
Deverdics joined Icelandic team BÍ/Bolungarvík on May 11, 2011.
