At the age of 19 Adolfo Rios made his debut with Pumas on November 11,1985 against Chivas which it ended 1-1. Later he was transferred to Veracruz for several years and then 1999 he was transferred to Club America for 5 years. In 2004 he played his last game against Toluca in which America was eliminated.
