Encina Preparatory High School is a high school located in Sacramento, California. It is a member of the San Juan Unified School District. The school has long suffered from low enrollment and has been suggested for closure several times throughout its history. Demographics

The school has 751 students; 63% of whom are socioeconomically disadvantaged. The school is 35% Hispanic/Latino, 30% White, 25% African American, and 8% Asian/Filipino.22% of students are English Language Learners with the main first languages spoken being Spanish, Russian, and Ukrainian.
