It is also a tungsten producer. The headquarter of the company is located at Luanchuan County, Luoyang City, Henan Province. The chairman is Mr. Duan Yuxian simplified Chinese: 段玉贤; traditional Chinese: 段玉賢).
In 26 April 2007, China Molybdenum was listed in Hong Kong Stock Exchange. Its stock was closed at HK$10.28, which was 60% greater than HK$6.8, the IPO price. It was one of the stocks with the greatest surplus in stock price at the first trading day in 2007.
China Molybdenum joined the Hang Seng China Enterprise Index from 2007 to 2010.
