"St. Joseph, Days of Civil War" is a documentary film on how the city of St. Joseph, Missouri was affected by the outbreak of the American Civil War in 1861. The documentary was written, produced and directed by Jim Conlon. The documentary was shot in three states, Missouri, Kansas and Nebraska. Cities included were:
*In Missouri: St. Joseph, Barnard, Jefferson City, Kansas City and Rosendale
*In Kansas: Wathena, Western Frontier Adventure near Easton
*In Nebraska: Brownville
The historic Patee House and Pony Express Museum in St. Joseph was used for key scenes. production began in April 2006 and ended in May 2007. The premiere was held on May 29, 2007 at Missouri Western State University and aired on KQTV in St. Joseph as a three-part series in June.
