St Anne's Church in Haughton, Denton is Grade I Listed Building. The church was built in 1881 and designed by J Medland Taylor. [cite web|title=Church of St Anne|url=http://www.imagesofengland.org.uk/Details/Default.aspx?id=212705 |publisher=Images of England|accessdate=2007-12-22] The construction was funded by E Joseph Sidebotham, a member of the Sidebotham mill-owning family of Hyde. The church was built in brick in the Gothic Revival style, but also utilised timber framing.
