census GR|2 of 2000, there were 778 people, 302 households, and 209 families residing in the village. Thepopulation density was 749.9 people per square mile (288.8/km²). There were 312 housing units at an average density of 300.7/sq mi (115.8/km²). The racial makeup of the village was 92.93% White, 0.39%African American , 4.76% from other races, and 1.93% from two or more races.Hispanic orLatino of any race were 10.41% of the population.The top three ancentries reported in Forest View as of the 2000 census were Polish (25.9%), Czech (19.0%) and Irish (15.1%).
