The dwarf rainbowfish (Melanotaenia praecox) is a species of fish in the Melanotaeniidae family. It is endemic to West Papua in Indonesia.

A pair of male dwarf neon rainbows in a home aquarium....THESE FISH ARE SUPPA they are fresh water, thus thriving within freshwater, they will not thrive in saltwater. On the contrary, most likely die or get eaten by another fish
