The "Parramatta Advertiser" serves the communities of Parramatta and Holroyd local government areas and plays an important role in delivering news and information to the region. It has the biggest circulation in the area and is committed to covering the latest breaking news, sport, council decisions, and community events every week.

The paper was awarded the Best Community Newspaper in New South Wales with a circulation of more than 40,000 in 2005.
