Bounty, like so many other communities throughout
Saskatchewan , has struggled to maintain a sturdy population causing it to become a semighost town .Prior to

History
Bounty was once a small village of 200 residents, with nineteen businesses, including three
grain elevators , twobanks , a three-story 24-room hotel, and a newspaper called theFertile Valley Echo . Around 1911, Bounty had a professional baseball team that played other towns in the area. Today, Bounty sits lonely on theprairie skyline, for all that remains is a few scattered buildings, acommunity hall , and acemetery .See also
