Qardho (Gardo) Is Historic city in the central Puntland area of Somalia. It is the capital of Qardho District in the Karkaar Region. It is largely inhabited by the Cisman Mahmoud and Abdi Rahiim Ibrahiim sub-clan of [(Majeerteen)and (Dishiishe), as well as the Arap sub clan of Mohamud Salah, and Midgan. It consists of the following districts: Hargoble, Kambo, Kuleejo, Qorya'ad, Hingood, Ga an libaax and wada jir.Current major of Qardho is Cismaan Buuh Ali.
