Talabheim

Talabheim

Talabheim is a city in the fictional world of Warhammer Fantasy. The city is one of the major cities of the Empire.

Talabheim is the capital city of the Talabecland region of the Empire, The city lies in the crater of a massive meteorite deep within the great forest and next to the Talabec river. The inhabitants claim it to be the crater of a comet and hence believe themselves to be closer to Sigmar (the twin tailed comet being Sigmar's symbol). The city has many nicknames such as City of the Comet and the Eye of the Forest.

The city itself consists of walls built around the rim of the crater, famously defended by massed artillery. The city is built inside the crater and to the banks of the Talabec river, where a ferry is available and is one of the few crossing points on the river.

The garrison of Talabheim wears red and white and widely uses the Comet symbol in its iconography. It has a one thousand strong garrison at all times.
