homepage = [http://www.newcaptv.com/ Newcap Telvision]CITL-TV is a Canadian television station, broadcasting in
Lloydminster . It is an affiliate of CTV, and one of only three CTV stations not owned and operated by the network itself. While CTV programs make up a major part of the CITL schedule, shows from Global TV and A television network also air on the station. The station is operated as a
twinstick with the city's CBC affiliate, CKSA. The stations were acquired byNewcap Broadcasting in2005 from their former owner, Midwest Television.CITL has rebroadcast transmitters in Wainwright, Provost, Bonnyville, Meadow Lake and Alcot Trail.
The station attempted to add a rebroadcaster in Fort McMurray in 2006 [ [http://www.crtc.gc.ca/archive/ENG/Hearings/2006/n2006-4.htm#20] ] , but this was subsequently withdrawn. CTV-owned
CFRN-TV already operates a transmitter, with some separate area-specific news, in Ashmont; most likely Newcap was unaware of this.CITL's newscasts air at 6 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. weekdays, and 6 p.m. on weekends.
