The Battle of Chojnice ("Battle of Konitz") was the last traditional pitched battle during The Deluge. At the end of 1656, Rutger von Ascheberg received information that the Polish cavalry has set up winter camp outside Chojnice. He attacked immediately, achieving a crushing Swedish victory.
