The United States has on several occasions helped bring about regime change in other nations.

Nicarague 1979

President Jimmy Carter ended the support for the Somoza regime which was one reason for its fall.[1]

South Africa 1990

The Comprehensive Anti-Apartheid Act of 1986 contributed to ending the Apartheid regime in South Africa.
