The antpeckers, "Parmoptila", are a genus tentatively assigned to the estrildid finch family (Estrildidae). This genus has been placed in a number of families and is currently placed with the estrildid finches due to similarities in breeding behaviour. They range across the tropical forests of central Africa.

* Red-fronted Antpecker, "Parmoptila rubrifrons"
* Jameson's Antpecker, "Parmoptila jamesoni" - formerly included in "P. rubrifrons"
* Woodhouse's Antpecker, "Parmoptila woodhousei"
