Iceland ic explorer who circa 1010 AD led an attempt to settleVinland with three ships and 160 settlers. Among the settlers wasFreydís Eiríksdóttir ,half-sister (but according toGrœnlendinga saga she was a full sister) ofLeif Eriksson .
